Burberry | SS26

Runway Show

For its SS26 runway show, Burberry returned to a striking tent design made from its iconic weatherproof gabardine, featuring painted blue skies and set in Perks Field at Kensington Palace.

A base 3D layout and stretch tent model was developed in Rhino and then imported into Unreal Engine for texturing and lighting. The set comprised a raised floor, cube seating, lighting truss towers, and scenic backdrops. The scene was textured using a PBR workflow, with height maps applied to add definition to the earth floor texture.

Photographs of the site were used to create emissive backplates, placing the surrounding environment behind the set, while a general diffused HDRI provided low-level ambient lighting. The stretch tent was tri-planar UV mapped in Unreal Engine to ensure the fabric pattern followed the geometry, displaying a specific sky pattern during key media shot moments.
